Spring is Here!!!!

The flowers have blossomed and the sun is finally staying out longer. The weather is perfect, so a late afternoon walk around the waterfront was an absolute must. You can finally put away your sweaters and jeans and start taking off the layers (geeeez. not ALL the layers ;]). 

Spring is our favorite season because the accessories and the fashion is adorable! Two of our favorite trends this Spring are any gold colored accessory. Since it is still a bit chilly outside a scarf is a great and cute way to add a little warmth!  S kills two fashion birds in one stone by adding a gold colored scarf to her all black outfit along with her gold flats. B keeps it simple with a gold watch, and gold sunglasses and her hair put up in an elegant bun.

We're both pretty much happy and silly all the time! Since we didnt know where to find a photobooth, we decided to create one ourselves, we are always improvising!  Photobooths are the best place to show many fun sides of yourself. The weather has been so beautiful in Arizona! Not too hot, not too cold, but it does get a bit chilly at night.  As seen on B, a jean jacket is perfect and goes with just about anything and S is wearing a cute and comfy sweater dress that is perfect for this weather!

Gala

A little behind the scene moments captured at the Suns and Stars Gala! Although some of these pictures may seem fun and relaxing, theses pictures were the moments that were captured when we weren’t running back and forth in the Ballroom of the Talk Stick Resort. Between trying to cue people on stage, moving people from stage left to stage right, greeting people at the door, and managing 6 different rooms, we found sometime to go over timelines, grab a cup of coffee, and talk with our co workers. Unfortunately we don’t have any moments of the Gala itself… but we promise next time we will try harder to make it all happen and snap up a few photos for you to see, because all the hard work we put into the event is all worth it when we see happy guests, amazing décor!

Cute Casual... kinda day.

Another busy day for S and B... early mornings, school and then off to work. Yet we still find time for the simple things that bring us  joy. After a morning of classes we usually have a good half hour to come home, unwind, make a quick snack, and prepare for the rest of the day. 

B loves to make a cup of coffee while looking through the latest cookbook to find a fun and easy recipe to cook up for dinner. While S catches up on the latest fashion magazine and gushes over a cute new blog she has come across.

While our busy schedules keep us on the go, we love to always dress up but it's just sometimes easier for us to dress more casual. Casual doesn’t have to mean grungy or not cute!  There are plenty of ways to add a little oomph to an outfit! We both chose two very different, yet very comfy, casual, and cute outfits!  B is styling black leggings with a comfy knitted sweater, and added a POP of color with her hot pink Toms. B chose a simple gold watch with black and gold studded earrings to keep it simple, seeing how the whole outfit is that way.  S kept it classy and cute as she paired cute white shorts with a beautiful black blouse and black flats. S left her hair wavy and pulled her bangs back with a braid. Something as simple as a braid really changes a look. So simple, yet very whimsical.

On a rainy day...

We didn't expect to run into a rainy day once we got back to Arizona from LA, but we sure didn't let Mother Nature stop us from having a productive day! B took a trip to Michael's to put together some flower arrangements for her bed side tables during her break from writing her paper.  While S took a stroll outside to go check the mail after a long day of classes and homework.

We're definitely not in LaLa Land anymore...

We've been getting a ton of emails about where we purchase our clothes so we wanted to feature one of our favorite boutiques in the Valley called Amy Inc.  A lot of the clothes in our photos are from Amy Inc.!  We love all of the designers and the variations of the different styles she carries!  It's definitely our go-to store when we need a cute outfit!  You can also get weekly updates on her website!

LA♥-Day 3: Date Night in LA

After sitting in LA traffic for 2 hours, we finally got back to W Hollywood from Anaheim.  We spent a lovely evening at The Grove and had dinner outside at an adorable cafe while we people watched, which happens to be one of our favorite things to do!  After dinner, we shopped around and ended up watching Bradely Cooper's new movie, Limitless and we HIGHLY recommend it!  Afterwards we went to Hollywood Blvd to do the typical LA tourist move and went to the Grauman's Chinese Theater. 

This trip to LA was definitely a success, but there's so much more we had on our agenda that we will definitely be making another trip to LA again!  Especially to see our Bro Dude friends, Adam & Trevor :)

-What We Wore-

The Weather in LA changes constantly, and on this particular Saturday It was a bit chilly. We found out this weekend you can really get away with wearing anything in LA!

Picture 1 (Becca): A Pair of Black Leggings, paired with any over sized grey sweater, motorcycle boots, a fun edgy bag (can't go wrong with Chanel), and a chic silver necklace to tie it all together. On rainy days though I like to dress comfy. LA♥-Day 3: Disneyland!!

Enjoyed a full day at Disneyland. Begin around Noon and left around Midnight! We enjoyed tons of fried food and ice cream cones, luckily Disneyland is such a big place we could try to walk it all off. 

Our favorite ride was the Tea Cups because It brought us both back to our childhood as we spun the Tea Cup round and round and laughed until we just about got sick. We went on just about every ride and ended our wonderful night at the Haunted Mansion....SPOOKY!!!!!

LA♥-Day 2

Here's our itinerary for our wonderful/busy busy day today

9:00 AM: Starbucks Coffee (of course)

9:22 AM: Hiked up Runyon Canyon

11:30 AM: Went back to the house to get changed to start off our day

12:10 PM: Had an amazing Caprese Salad at The Ivy on Robertson Blvd

1:00 PM: Shopping on Robertson Blvd

3:15 PM: Drove to Santa Monica to go shopping on 3rd St Promenade 

5:00 PM: Met up with our girlfriends at O'Brian Irish Pub 

6:30 PM: Back to Nordstrom (bad idea)

7:00 PM: Met up with our girlfriend Laura and her sister at Sushi Roku for a wonderful dinner.

9:00 PM: Back to W Hollywood

10:00 PM: Anaheim

We did so much in one day, that we are absolutely exhausted!!  We are staying in a hotel in Anaheim tonight to get a goodnight sleep, so we can enjoy our day tomorrow at The Happiest Place on Earth... DISNEYLAND!

To LA♥

3 pit stops, 1 Cosmo Magazine, a playlist full of Justin Bieber, backstreet boys, 98 degrees, and a million laughs later we finally arrive in HOLLYWOOD!!!!

Of course we wanted to dress comfy in a 6 hour drive, but that doesn't mean you can't dress it up with a few accessories!

 Spring Break is FINALLY here and we're headed to where else but our future home LA!  We love to travel together and we prefer road trips rather than flights, because not only does it save money but it allows us to share more laughs and make more memories.  We have a tendency to over pack, so this time we planned out our outfits so we can avoid jamming 30 suitcases into one little car.

And the winner is...

Emily!!!

We all have been anticipating for tonight for the season finale of the Bachelor!  After a long day of work, we decided to have a few girls over to watch the exciting season finale! We all were rooting for Emily except for a few of us (no names will be mentioned here) and to our expectation, Brad chose Emily in an emotional happy ending!  We chatted over popcorn and candies and to let you in on our yummy secret, we love to put Hot Tamales in our warm popcorn!  It might sound weird, but it adds the perfect amount of spice to our sweet & salty treats!  Try it next time ;)

Aloha

Saturdays like this don't come very often for us, so we wanted to take full advantage of our day off!  Little did we know there was an Aloha Hawaiian Festival right across the street.  Right when we walked in we were welcomed with the delicious scent of Hawaiian food, bright colors, and many amazing attractions!  We dove right into the food and got Hawaiian noodles, Hawaiian shaved ice, sugar coated doughnuts, and refreshing raspberry lemonade.  (You won't see us by the pool tomorrow!) We found Hawaiian flower hair accessories and walked around the festival enjoying and experiencing the Hawaiian Culture!

Saturday Morning

Saturday mornings are usually hectic for us.  We work for an amazing company that throws some pretty cool events, so you would usually find us at either a grocery store purchasing things off an artists' rider list or at a venue preparing for an event for that night.  But this particular Saturday, we finally got to discuss what we truly wanted to do and that is to finally start this friendship blog.  This blog will capture our friendship as a whole but also our everyday lives, the things we love, and the people we love.
